Cavan beat stiff competition to emerge as the winner of the 2009 Irish final.   Jennifer is a second year student of the Bachelor of Science in Horticulture degree course at the Salesian College of Horticulture in Warrenstown and has recently travelled to Long Island, New York to complete her six-month work placement. Small classes are a feature of Warrenstown College, where students inevitably benefit from a closer interaction with their tutors.

The spectrum of jobs available to horticulturists is as varied as the plants they grow. Employment in this sector is extremely buoyant and there is a myraid of well-paid opportunities for Warrenstown College graduates both in Ireland and overseas. We judge our success by the achievements of our students.
